Cross processing is a technique that was originally developed for processing film images. By processing the film in the wrong type of chemicals, you could create a highly stylized image with drastically different colours and contrast.
Cross-processing is also strongly associated with the old Russian LOMO camera, a low quality camera known for its unpredictable results.
The Insta-X Lightroom Presets have been created to add warmth, boost colours and increase saturation.
These all work on photos with any style of lighting.
